Working Dog Assessment

   An assessment is required on all dogs entering the Search & Rescue Training
   Group. Any behaviour issues will be discussed with solutions specific to your
   dog. Temperament and working ability of your dog will be assessed and an
   evaluation will be given to determine if it meets the requirements to do the
   work.

Certification

   We have handlers and their dogs at different levels in different types of
   training. They progress at their own speed depending on their dog’s ability
   and each individual’s personal time scheduling of training time between the
   Saturday sessions.

   When a handler and their dog have reached the performance standards of
   each level of training they will be tested. A certificate for completing the
   standards of each level will be awarded.

Training Costs

   For the safety of other handlers and their dogs only training equipment
   manufactured for CRDOGS will be used in the training. A one-time purchase
   of the equipment is required.

Assessment Fee: $275 Plus 5% GST
