Tracking Level 1

Level 1 tracking course is an introduction
for the novice handler who wants to
have fun working their dog or for those
preparing for sport/work to compete/
certify in Schutzhund 1, Canadian Kennel
Club/American Kennel Club Tracking Dog
title or working dogs such as Search and
Rescue, Police Dogs, etc.
Handlers will be introduced to the theory of tracking as well as
practical
instruction with their dog.
At the completion of the level one course the dog will be able to track
its
owner, foot print for foot print for approximately 300 meters, with 2 turns
in
a rural terrain.
The track will be approximately 40 minutes old with 2 articles on it.
Dropping on
articles will be introduced as well.

A certificate of completion is awarded at the end of each level
achieved.

One Saturday Per Month 9:00AM to 12:00PM, year round

Cost:
$50.00 per month
Payment:
Pay as you go. Cash or Cheque. A percentage of all proceeds go
to
the Hamilton Mountain Rotary Club who sponsor the Hamilton Police
Volunteer Search & Rescue.
