        Bentley was the largest in a litter of 9 and he quickly made it clear that
        he was going to be the "alpha dog" when he joined our family. We took
        him to obedience training, but it became apparent that we needed
        something more. We contacted Dave and upon meeting Bentley, he
        quickly assessed not only his behaviour but our responses to it as well.
        Under Dave's direction and guidance, we learned how to manage Bentley
        and, while he still has a stubborn streak, which emerges every once in a
        while, we deploy the techniques Dave taught us to get back on track.

        When Bentley was 7 months old, he became very ill while we were away
        and was hospitalized for many days at our local vet. Dave learned of this,
        knew we were away, understood our growing concern and helplessness
        and sent us a note indicating he would personally transfer Bentley, on our
        behalf, to Guelph Veterinary Hospital, if he required more critical
        intervention. In the end, it wasn't necessary, but it certainly was
        comforting knowing he was available to assist us if required. His offer
        clearly demonstrates his caring attitude and close affinity towards the
        dogs he trains. We have recommended his services many times to others
        and will continue to do so, without hesitation.
