We adopted Spanky (English Bulldog) when he was 1.5 years old; he came from the most loving home into ours. Along with that came “dog aggression” I was told by many people that it was the English Bulldog breed and his dog aggression would not change, for these dogs were used to bait Bulls in the 1800’s.

Well I am positive Spanky had never baited a Bull and never will but when he was 8 months old he was attacked in a leash free park by an adult German Sheppard that had dog aggression, with that Spanky became dog aggressive.

   It was not only embarrassing to walk down the street with my mad bulldog
   lunging and barking out of control at any dog he saw several yards away, but
   it was hard to control my very strong Bully (I had to pull with all my might to
    pull him back). In my frustration I went to Ren’s Pet Depot and spoke to
    Dave Walker and he assured me with his training methods and tools that we
    would get the aggression controlled and with his Level 1 and Level 2 training
    course, we’d have the results we wanted. I spoke to some of his customers
    who had the same problem we did with “dog aggression” they had previous
    training with other trainers without success; But with Dave Walker he had
    solved their dog aggression problems and other issues. I researched several
    trainers and Dave of CR DOGS was most informative and assured me with his
    training and consistency from us, we’d achieve the results. With that we
    registered for Spanky’s Assessment.

    Within 1 hour Dave had Spanky controlled and responding to his training
    methods and tools. We were amazed that this was happening. Spanky could
    never be a football field away from a dog without going into his aggression
    stage, yet Dave managed to have Spanky respond to his commands within
    1 hour with many dogs in the store close by, Dave’s methods were calm and
    assertive, we were AMAZED!!

    We then registered for Level 1 Private, the results we saw in Spanky after
    Level 1 Private went above and beyond our expectations. Dave is the “Real
    Deal” when it comes to canines and their behavior. He has the utmost
    respect, knowledge and passion for the canine world, his training skills are
    easy to learn and work. Spanky responded very well to Dave’s training, the
    hardest part was to train my husband and I. Once we were trained and able
    to be consistent with Spanky the results came and we are so happy to have
    our loving boy in and outside of doors. We then registered for Level 2
    “GROUP” We went to class that had 8 other dogs in class and we learned
    the Obedience in Level 2. Amazed to be in the same room with other dogs.

    Spanky learned his place in the pack and that we are the dominant leaders
    of the pack. We cannot even begin to express the gratitude that we have
    to Dave and staff at CR DOGS. They have provided us with the obedient
    well behaved dog we always wanted. We highly recommend Dave Walker
    at CR DOGS, his training classes and seminars not only bring you the results
    you want to achieve, but they are fun. We plan to continue with Dave in his
    seminar workshops as refresher classes which is a great day to spend with
    Dave and trainers and other people and their dogs.
