    I came to know Dave Walker when I was researching training techniques
    and what would work for me, and my new German Shepherd - "Calypso".   
    I felt it was my responsibility to my new 'best friend' to provide her the
    training that would make her the best.....Dave's balanced training methods
    did that. 

    We completed all three levels of obedience, and then carried the
    training over to Advanced Search and Rescue.  Prior to her retirement due
    to health reasons in 2006, Calypso and I were certified as a Hamilton
    Police Volunteer Search and Rescue Canine Team with several searches for
    lost and missing persons under our belts.
