Testimonials - CR Dogs Hall of Fame

After adopting 2 adult bullmastiffs, Sarah and Butch, (tipping the scales
at about 100lbs each) we found ourselves faced with some obedience issues that needed to be addressed
in a hurry! Both dogs were "farm raised", and had no formal obedience training to speak of. Although they have wonderful-loving personalities,
the breed is known for being extremely stubborn and headstrong (which we soon discovered first-hand after a couple of months trying to train them ourselves).

Our greatest concern was the "dog aggressive behavior" our male, Butch, was exhibiting. We researched several "obedience classes" without success.
   The majority of classes that were offered conducted group lessons only, and
   we were unable to find an instructor who would allow our ‘dog aggressive’
   male into their class.

   Finally, we were referred to Dave Walker of CR Dogs. After speaking with
   Dave on the phone and explaining our situation, he told us that he could
   help; we arranged to meet for an evaluation. Naturally, we were very
   skeptical – we had already tried the training on our own to no avail, and
   received little encouragement from the other trainers we had spoken with.

   After the first 5 minutes with Dave, we were so relieved - we knew that we
   had found our answer! It was immediately evident that he has an incredible
   way with these animals. He commands the utmost respect from the canine
   world, and is able to get results using a ‘firm’ but ‘loving’ approach. He is
   teaching us how to gain that same respect from our dogs, and how to make
   training fun. In just a few lessons we have seen extraordinary results - results
   we were unable to imagine a couple of weeks ago. We have already referred
   family members to Dave Walker and CR Dogs, and will continue to do so. It is
   without hesitation that we recommend to you Dave Walker and CR Dogs!!
