Novice obedience training is for the dogs that have a clear understanding
   of the six commands of Sit, Down, Stand, come, Stay and Heel.  Training is
   done on lead where the dog is exposed to increased everyday distractions
   (dogs, cats, squirrels, people, traffic, etc.) where he will be corrected and/or
   praised for its behaviour.  this training is done on lead with the focus on
   distractions in the everyday world and teaching your dog the proper way to
   behave around them.  Off-leash work is introduced as well as distance control
   in this level of training.
